The only other modded form of progression out there is AwesomeMod, our "friendly competitor," with its Story Mode. If one or more of the individual kinds of progression (career, relationship, skill, money, etc.) are still happening too fast, each of them can also be individually adjusted to be yet slower (or faster) with the Speed settings under General Options > Options: (blah).īeyond that, there is a reason each of its twenty-seven schmillion or so settings has the default it does have and it's not really necessary to engage in endless hours of customization to get decent gameplay out of it unless one really wants to. Once the story queues clear out, the difference should become obvious. Also on an ongoing game, it will usually take a sim day or so for speed changes like that to be totally put into effect so it might not seem like there's any difference right away. There will still be a flurry of career changes and adjustments in the beginning if the mod is introduced to an already ongoing game, but those are due to it trying to align sims' careers with their personalities and Lifetime Wishes. NRaas > SP > General Options > Adjust Speed and try Slow (2) or Snail (1). If you like what NRaas SP is doing generally but just wish for it slow the heck down (this is common), then just one setting adjustment is required.
